I've trying to switch from version 2.9.2 of wordpress to the 3.01 but i've found a problem with the more types plugin: there's no way to select a default category to each new post type created.
It doesn't work with categories anymore, just taxonomies? Is that the move i didn't figured out?

You're right, it doesn't work (yet).
We will have an updated for you to be able to select default category again, but no timeframe.
