I have installed this plug in, it comes highly recommended to me. I have manually FTP'ed some files to uploads/minutes-agendas-newsletters.
When I go to Media/Minutes, Agendas Newsletters there is nothing there. so I thought, OK, obviously the plugin has to upload them. I then went to browse and found the files again on my computer, but it only allows me to upload one at a time, which was the reason I installed this plugin so I could bulk install.
Where are there step by step instructions or a video demo? This is very frustrating. :(

FTP should work. Do your files follow whatever naming convention you define in the plugin's settings? It will only recognize files that are named correctly.

pdf-WCS-factsheet1.pdf
pdf-WCS-factsheet2.pdf etc.
SLUG TITLE LINKFORMAT Date File prefix
pdfs PDFS [filename] F j, Y pdf-
These files are already in the folder, but the plugin does not see them. As stated, if I want to upload them I can only do it one at a time and the first one is renamed pdf-_2012-08-02.pdf When I try to upload file #2 it will not do it.

By the way, thank you for the quick response.

Your file names have to have a date in them. The plugin is meant for dated resources, like minutes, agendas, newsletters. The plugin may not be applicable for what you want to do.

OK, I can manually change the names to make this work... instead of pdf-WCS-factsheet1.pdf
should it be
pdf-2012-08-02-WCS0factsheet1.pdf
I am also unclear about why I need a prefix?

I am assuming that the program will "see" the folders that are already there if they have dates in them?

The Settings page describes how the naming convention works. Your files need to be something like factsheet_2012-08-02.pdf .
Not sure what you mean by 'seeing' folders. All the documents need to be in the directory you define on the Settings page for the plugin.
