Hi all, just a quick question from a bit of a non technically minded designer.

I’m all set up with a new site that I put together in wordpress, and have success in using the Mini-Twitter plug in. The only thing I really need to do is be able to open the links that are in the tweets displayed in a new window/tab… is this something easy to do or is it a nightmare?

Cheers, looking forward to an answer!

    Hi,
It is already like this by default. The links that are in the tweets are opened in a new tab. I just tested it.

Hey, thanks for a quick response…

I’m still struggling with this, it just seems that they won’t open in a new window/tab, I’m trying in Safari and Chrome.

Maybe you can have a look if you get a minute…

the twitter feed is hidden right at the bottom of the page, down in the footer.

Thanks again! our help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

It is not my plugin…. By the way, if you want to open the link in a new tab just add target="_blank" in the ‘a’ tag.

Thanks again mate, sorry I didn’t realise it wasn’t your plug in.

Thanks for the tip on the “target blank” portion, I’m aware of that one thought. The problem is I can’t edit the a ref as it is inside a tweet that is displayed.

Anyway, I’ll just have to live with it I guess, not to worry.

    Cheers
