Maybe I am being thick, quite possible as I am new to wordpress. I downloaded the plug in Mini Twitter Feed, fine done. Then substituted my username in the various fields - also done. But I can not see the feed on my wordpress site?? I looked in Widgets section and there is no minifeed there. What am I doing wrong here?
    Thanks

What is wrong with me website:
    http://www.prophetsandseers.net/
Since, it is also only showing the header and footer of the feed.

I know the plugin itself must be working because it is working on my other site (hexicraft.com) and on the mini twitter website.

You need to change the version of jQuery. You are using 1.4.2 version and it needs the 1.7.1+ to work.

If you like the plugin, don't hesitate to rate it 5 stars :)

My wordpress version is 3.4.2 (latest), is the plugin not yet compatable with this?

The WordPress version is fine. You just need to change the JQuery version that you use.

What am i supposed to do, step by step, 'Change JQuery version' means nothing to me, since as far as i am aware JQuery is bundled with WordPress..

The Twitter API has been recently updated and this started to affect some of our WordPress websites that use the GoodLayers Twitter Widget. It seemed to be affecting other twitter widgets as well.

If you find the feed isn't working, hopefully this will help:

So is this plugin ever going to be fixed?

This plugin works.. with jQuery 1.7.1+. On your website you use jQuery 1.4.2. I think one of your plugin is in conflict. Try to deactivate your plugins and activate just minitwitter, it should work.

    Hi
I have problem from my mobile.
    I try this minitwitter.webdevdesigner.com
And not actually the plugin, just a script embed.
I try to embed the line of jquery above from header and with
few codes on where to display tweets.
Then in my mobile, i try to check it out but then it display
nothing and sometimes it works, and most of the time it's
not visible. I wonder why it goes like that.? It's not visible
already from my mobile, there are some other time it displays
but once you refresh it, it's not showing anymore. Any advice?

    Hi,

I'm having problems with the Minitwitter feed not showing on my site, it was working for a month straight and now all I get is the minitwitter header and the twitter bird footer. I checked the header and this is only one instance of the jquery, I check the twitter username to make sure and I checked the shortcode you described on the plugin webpage. All seems to be in place, but Im not seeing anything and again it was working yesterday.

Any help would be great thanks.

I am having exactly the same problem. It worked for a while, but now, oddly, it only works on my mobile phone. The feed on Chrome/IE etc shows no tweets, just the header and footer of the module.

PLEASE if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, having the same "on-and-off" problem as many right now. Has Twitter changed the API again, does anyone know anything?

    Thanks guys

I though it might be caused by the Jetpack or the WP Stats Dashboard plugins, tried deactivating all the plugins, though it did not help.

I found that one status is orange right now... dunno if this is causing the problems. https://dev.twitter.com/status

Same problem here fabian. Sometimes I see the feed is "off" but comes back after a couple of refreshes. Over the last 2 days it has been down completely.

Maybe this will help some of you people just refreshing all day to see if it's working.

You can display up to 100 tweets within 7 days (limit set by Twitter's Search API).

Incase you were wondering, that's roughly 14 per day. Don't get mad at the guy who made the plugin, Twitter limits this on the API so you don't use up all their (twitter) bandwidth requesting tweets all day while you hit refresh.
