[Plugin: Mingle Forum] How to incorporate avatars? And Theme registration.

I am really enjoying the simplicity of the Mingle Forums, thanks so much for this. My main question is avatars. I created a new fake account to walk through the registration process, and didn’t see any way to add a photo to a profile. Can anyone help me suss this out?

I also wondered if anyone had tips on how to theme the registration page. I think it looks strange to go from a website/forum to a page which says WORDPRESS in big letters at the top. It’s as if they left the page and are signing up for something else entirely. I want to theme the registration page so that it is clearly them creating a profile/account on our page.

Dancer, I use the simple local avatars plugin. This will allow your users to upload their own avatar in the profile page, and it’ll show up on mingle forums when they post.

I don’t have an answer for your second question though.

And “Theme My Login” works well for site-wide stuff, but doesn’t natively allow your header “register” link to go to the right place. But there is a little walkthrough to change that link so it works here:
