Hello,
I am using Mingle forum, and I was wondering how i can allow my users to upload a photo. Right now users can put a link to a photo but it requries html knoledge, but it does not give them the option to download a photo only [img][/img].
Thanks,
Aaron
HM... I hadn't thought of that because I have no need for it, but you're right! That would be a great upgrade to Mingle Forums. Maybe even a plugin.
Hear that, Cartpauj?

I'm writing a new forum plugin right now that will support this feature. It will also provide a conversion script to upgrade from Mingle Forum. Mingle Forum was a great project but it's time for something new that's a little easier to maintain.
I'm sitting on about 3 months out for the new plugin.
Hello there,
Thanks for a wonderful plugin, seriously.. You have made life much easier for a lot of us. I was wondering if you might be able to help me out. In my test forums I noticed even though my images have a max-width of 475 in the css, you can still add a photo from photobucket that exceeds that limit and it does not restrict its size or resize it.
Am I doing something wrong and if so can you tell me how to make it so that images, remote or ( uploaded in the future ) will be resized constraining proportions and such so that it is limited always by the max-width in the css file? It would be nice if you could add lightbox to the forums as well, this way images resized to a max-width could still be clicked and open directly on your screen at the full size it was uploaded at regardless of where it is. :)
That would be awesome!
Kind regards,
Saxamo

Saxamo, if you're embedding it from photobucket you may need to change the dimensions in the WordPress Media settings.
Hello there sir,
Thanks for the reply, but I do have the settings in media set to
Auto-embeds (Checked)
When possible, embed the media content from a URL directly onto the page. For example: links to Flickr and YouTube. When possible, embed the media content from a URL directly onto the page. For example: links to Flickr and YouTube.
Maximum embed size Width(475) Height (356)
I just can't get it to embed at that size. :( Any help is truly appreciated.
Thanks for even writing back. Truly!
Kind regards,
Saxamo

Is the 'user image upload' plugin still being made?
Also, I too am having trouble with the auto-embeds width like @saxamo is. Has anyone figured it out? I would love some help!
