    Hi
thanks for making this plugin. This is only slideshow which is working where i want it to. But im having a weird problem.

Since im working offline using XAMPP, i cant show you my work, but i can post screenshots

The theme im using is http://www.wpdaddy.com/theme/chocolate.html
the area under the "golden bow" is called Gallery, which, by default is set to show a featured post.

I tried to remove the post and add your slideshow, which btw is the only one that works.

It works fine in Google Chrome, but IE and Firefox are messed up.
Btw im using latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and IE8

see these screenshots. Also added my header.php file

    chrome

Glad to hear that my plugin is working well for you.

It's a bit tough to say from the screenshots what exactly is causing this, but it helps to know how it looks on your end.

I will test this theme on my local server and see if I can spot the problem. What dimensions do you have the slideshow set to?

940 x 150 is the size of the slideshow, while the gallery height is set to 160 and my images are 750x150

also i noticed, when i use the uncover or blindz effect, the outgoing slide goes out of my gallery and site page. looks really bad then.

I tried to setup a demo so that I could test this, but when I downloaded your theme from this source and opened it, it looks to be infected with malicious code.

If you look in header.php, you will see this script which looks pretty nasty to me:

    eval(str_rot13('shapgvba purpx_s_sbbgre(){vs(!(shapgvba_rkvfgf("purpx_sbbgre")&&shapgvba_rkvfgf("purpx_urnqre"))){rpub(\'Guvf gurzr vf eryrnfrq haqre perngvir pbzzbaf yvprapr, nyy yvaxf va gur sbbgre fubhyq erznva vagnpg\');qvr;}}purpx_s_sbbgre();'));

There are other similar scripts through out the theme.

I highly recommend using a theme from a trusted source like the official theme directory, or a reputable theme shop.

This script has probably injected itself into your database, so even if you delete the files they could become reinfected.

I'd suggest getting any data you might need out through a WordPress XML export and then deleting that database and those files to prevent further infection.

i went to the original site of the theme
    http://www.free-wordpress-theme.net/ as listed on Wpdaddy.com

and redownloaded the theme, but it too has the code.

Thnaks for pointing this out. I never knew these things happened.

im new to wordpress and ecommerce.

what kind of themes shall i get for ecommerce and how do i check them?

You need to delete all of the files. The theme is most vulnerable, but WordPress and the plugins could also be hacked and are easy to replace. Your graphics should be fine if you have any images from the theme or your content that you want to save, but trash everything else.

Your database is also likely infected and will reinfect your files, so you need to delete that too. Make sure to make a backup just in case. You can probably export any posts or pages you want to save via the WordPress XML exporter, but you want to ditch that database.

So start over with a new database, and do a fresh install of WordPress, import any content as XML, and upload any graphics to the media uploader.

I checked free-wordpress-theme.net, that is not the original source, it is just where wpdaddy got the theme, it is still infected. You would have to find the original author of the theme, and get the theme there to be more confident it is clean. But as I said, I'd use a trusted source like wordpress.org or one of the big theme shops to find a theme.

Any site is vulnerable, but it is more likely to get hacked through a weak shared server or a bad plugin or theme than through WordPress itself. That being said there are security measures that you can take to secure WordPress.

But the theme, plugins, and hosting are weaker points, so make sure you are using reputable themes and plugiuns for WordPress, and that you have a reliable host. I'd recommend getting at least a VPS package, this will be more secure than a shared host and be more likely to support the ecommerce features you will need, like and an SSL certificate.

There are only two major ecom plugins for WordPress, Shopp and WP eCommerce, so I would start by picking one of those, and then you can find a theme that will work well with your shopping cart. The plugin site might be able to recommend some that support their plugin.
