Meteor Slides
slider not appearing in Weaver II (9 posts)

I have placed the slideshow in a page using shortcode, but it doesn´t appear. If I inspect with Chrome I see all the code is there including the images. I think that the problem is that the height is somehow set to a couple of pixels. Have tried deactivating other pugins and made sure that I set the slideshow size before importing the images. Have read loads of posts in this foro but hasn`t helped. Really appreciate any suggestions - thanks

The height of the slideshow is set in Slides > Settings, make sure the width and height matches your images size.

When you go to slides make sure you see the actual images in each defined slide.

Follow the step by step in my 5th post in the thread below
    http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussion/2781/weaver-pro-ii-help-plugin-meteor-slideshow#Item_21

If it still does not work post a link to the page were you inserted the shortcode.

Hi, followed your steps and all worked OK (when loading the images from PC) but the problem is when I load the images from NextGen Gallery. The images in NextGen are the same as I loaded from PC and I see them perfectly in each Meteor Slide, but I do not see the slideshow in the post (although using Chrome inspection I can see the slideshow code). The url is fiestastapersex.es and the slideshow is just above "Reunite" - any help appreciated. Many thanks

I can see the slideshoa fine in IE9 and IE8 so may be you have a cache problem. Make sure to clear / refresh the cache and test from other machines

Hi, thanks for looking, I reuploaded the images from my PC and all works fine. The problem seems to be when I load from nextgen gallery. I have just created a new slideshow (using images from nextgen) and placed it in a widget at the top of the page. You can see there that although the images appear ok in the slides, the slideshow does not show correctly. These images are the same as those I uploaded from PC

How did you place it at the top of the page? I see both slideshows, except the top one is 30px hight instead of 300px high.
If this is not an error in your settings, and if the top one is done using images from the Nextgen gallery, I would say it could be a problem with the way you inserted it, or there is an interaction problem between NextGen and Meteor slide (probably on the nextgen side), so you may want to talk to them about it.

You should insert both slideshow in the same content area so you compare them inserted in the same way in the same place

Yep the top one was done with nextgen, and the height seems to shrink everytime. I'll see if nextgen support can shed any light - thanks

You should insert both slideshow in the same content area so you compare them inserted in the same way in the same place in case it is the way it is inserted that causes the height problem

Hi, just done that and you can see show1 is OK whereas show4 (just below, and created from nextgen) has a height of 6px, although if you inspect with Chrome, it shows as 300px!
