Meteor Slides
[resolved] Random meta not working (5 posts)

I love the plugin! I must be doing something wrong - I can use metadata to set the dimensions of the individual slideshows, but when I use random, they still play in order. I'm using the shortcode on three pages: home, about, and art. The draft site is here http://arthousepreschool.com/WP2012/
An example shortcode I'm using is:
    [meteor_slideshow slideshow="horizontal" metadata="height: 200, width: 300, random:1"]

Hi, that looks correct, but I don't see this metadata being added to the slideshows. I do see one minor typo, there isn't a space between the colon and "1" after random. Try updating that, even something that small can cause problems:

    [meteor_slideshow slideshow="horizontal" metadata="height: 200, width: 300, random: 1"]

Ah, mystery solved. It wasn't the space - that didn't fix it. But looking at the space made me notice the editor was in visual mode.

    Switching to html showed this:
    [meteor_slideshow slideshow="horizontal" metadata="height: 200, width: 300, random:1"]

Thanks, TinyMCE, for the extra tags :)

Oops, should have put that in a code tag...
    [meteor_slideshow slideshow="horizontal" metadata="height: 200, width: 300, random:1"<code></code>]

    Yep, that will do it!
