'm a WP newbie who has unsuccessfully tried to install several slideshow plugins. Meteor Slides beats them all!! Not just because of the easy of installation but also the great tutorial support. Great job, Josh!

I'm having a problem with the appearance of a phantom image which occasionally appears behind each image of the 14 slide show I just installed at http://myherbalifestyles.com/

I deactivated the WP125 plugin since it created problems in the past but the image is still there.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Are you referring to the black lines that appear behind the slides to the top and left? They are the only things I could see that appeared to be a sort of phantom image.
Checking it out with Firebug it appears that there is a facebook related iframe loaded there.
<iframe id="fb_xdm_frame_http" ....> for the top one and
<iframe id="fb_xdm_frame_https" ....> for the 'to the left' one.

Thanks, Deathcake! Yeah, those the lines I was referring to. I appreciate you taking the time to look at it.

The lines aren't there all the time. What do I have to do to get rid ot them?

Thanks for your interest and input.

Viewing it myself, the lines were in fact there all the time.
I would suggest as a test to disable all your facebook related plugins, see if the lines disappear, then re-enable them one at a time to try and determine which one is causing the lines.
If you must use what I suspect, being a facebook plugin causing it, then you might be able to adjust that plugin by changings it z-index.
See here for a bit of a read of z-indexing using css

Ie, you might be able to adjust the z-index of the facebook plugin using its CSS to appear as the 'lowest' layer and then have the template background and slider displaying over the top.
It appears currently to be that the template is the lowest layer, then the facebook stuff, then the slider.
Please note I could be way off here, I am merely a fellow end user who happens to be also using Meteor Slides and WordPress.

Thanks again, Deathcake! I'll check out your link and see what happens when I disable the plugs. Appreciate your time!

You were right, Deathcake. Apparently it was the Facebook "Like" button in the Share This plugin configuration that was creating the problem.

I unchecked that option and the problem went away.

    Really appreciate your help! Thanks!
