    Hi
I am not involved in Meteor slides, however I do use it.
The order that the slides are displayed in is determined by the published date order it seems.
The ‘newest’ one is the first slide displayed, the ‘oldest’ published one gets displayed last.
The way I fixed my ordering problem was to go into Slides, then quick edit the slides you want to re-order and check the ‘date’ field.
The slide I wanted to be displayed first I set the time to be 5:00 for example, the slide I wanted displayed second I set to 4:58, the third slide I set to 4:55 etc.
Basically the published order is the order the slides are displayed in, from most recent published to oldest.
Also, from the FAQ from the plugin page,
“How can I switch the order of the slides?
The slides load in the order they were published, you can change the publish date of a slide post to switch the order. If you’d like drap-and-drop slide sorting, try a plugin like Post Types Order.”

    Yep, that’s exactly right!
