   Hi,
   do I need to download a separate plug in to add slides to the theme 'village'

   Are you referring to this theme on ThemeForest? It looks like it has slideshows built in, if you are having trouble setting them up you would have to get in touch with the theme developer. Meteor Slides is a standalone slideshow plugin that can be used with any theme.

   Thank you so much for getting back to me- I referred to the theme forest help sheet and realised the 'feature image' button was hidden. I can now add slides.

   You saves me from uploading a plug in I didn't need :)
