• ON WordPress 3.0.2 using latest version of Menubar plugin on IIS7. I’m using CMS Press to create Custom Post Types but the highlighting of the current page isn’t functioning. I have a custom Post Type ‘Articles’ and an item in Menubar using External with a URL of “/articles” but the link doesn’t highlight when clicked. Anyone know a fix? Would creating the post types manually help?

  • Hello Tpohare,

Please try using a fully qualified URL (http://….) and the highlighting should work. If you need to change that, you can play with the source code: function wpm_this_url() in file wpm-db.php.

    Thanks that worked perfectly.

Further to this I have another small issue in the same circumstances. The section is highlighted when I’m in the root of a section but not in a post within that section. So it will work for /articles/ but not /articles/test. How can I set the highlighting to remain when I’m within I’m with the section?

I’m afraid there is no workaround this time, I’m going to fix that in the next Menubar version. Thank you for your feedback!
