• When I activate the shotcode protection feature and register a shortcode (e.g. “protected”) and enter content into the No access message box, the membership lite plugin replaces ALL WordPress registered shortcodes, not just those defined in the “Shortcode” box in the membership lite options. Now anywhere I am using shortcodes throughout the site, and am not logged in, I get the No access message. I am using Membership Lite 1.0.2. I assume this is not intentional?

Even on the Register page, the [subscriptionform] shortcode is being replaced with the no access message.

I am using WordPress 3.0.1 in network sites config.

  • Hi
What options do you have set for the plugin?

If you have “Shortcode visibility default” set to No then all shortcodes will automatically be protected and only those you “allow” on a level by level basis will operate normally.

If you have it set to Yes, then all shortcodes will operate normally except for those you restrict on a level by level basis.

The subscriptionform shortcode shouldn’t be affected, but make sure that you have identified your registration page in the option labelled “Registration page”
