this is a great premise for a plugin but currently it's not working for me 100%. I can add new caps to roles but I can't remove them. The boxes that I uncheck revert back to checked after submission.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the latest version (I'm using svn trunk)?
I debugged it a bit and saw that POST only gets the newly checked items and doesn't see unchecked ones at all.

I highly recommend running the latest stable version and not trunk. Trunk is unstable and under development (though the above issue has been fixed in the latest code).

As far as running trunk, I would normally say it's true that it's risky but it helps developers catch bugs before official releases. So just like Viper runs WordPress trunk on his site for bleeding edge and bug detection, I like to help out plugin devs by running bleeding edge plugin code.
P.S. The name "Members" makes it so hard to see tickets here in the WP system, I am glad you noticed.
