   Hi, I've been having problems sending e-mail through the plugin, and my server says it's because it uses the 'sendmail' function instead of 'phpmailer'. Though I noticed that the plugin has the ability to send mail through phpmailer (I assume so because of the class.phpmailer.php file).

   So the question is: how would I make sure meenews is actually using phpmailer and how would I configure it to work right?

   I've read some tutorials about phpmailer but I don't seem to get how it relates to the plugin.

   Hello,
   Sendmail doesn't work with my host (WebFaction) so they ask that we use configure SMTP. This works very well, but how do I get MeeNews to work with it?

   not sure how your server end is setup for wp. but you should setup your internal ini file for mail.

   select one of the mail options and test. spent a few days working with this and it was only with v2.7.1 as that works. v5.0 does not work.

   it seems ok, but would be nice if the developer put in a bit more effort. he would make more than some beer money on this.
