   hey
   this is a great plugin, there is just one function i miss at the moment. there is the upload new media function in the sidebar of wp-admin panel. is it possible to bulk tagg all the images i upload there directly after the upload? otherwise i have to select all the media i added by hand to bulk add media tags

   Thanks. At the moment there are no WordPress hooks (that I can find) that allow setting the tags on image for the initial upload. This is partly because of the Flash uploaded used by WordPress.

   I workaround this easily.

   Bulk-loaded images have no tags, but in the other hand they're displayed first in the Media Library:

   - Say you have uploaded 50 images. Select in Screen Options->Show on Screen = 51
   - Click the Select-all checkbox
   - Go down the list and uncheck the 51st that should be tagged (I always do this to make sure I counted right lol).
   - Now select Media-Tags from the Bulk Actions list and apply the tags you want to the whole lot.

   Thanks alx359. Yeah that is the work around I always suggest to users. Still trying to figure out how I can get this working on the upload screens.

   locksn and alx359. I'm actually spent the last 2 full days adding the Media-Tags bulk admin interface to the file upload Media Library panel. Seems to work like the other bulk admin. Need to finish up some code for the popup version which is slightly different.

   Any volunteers on beta testing this sometime early next week?

   Sorry for the delay. I had merge a bunch of changes into a new version. Then started working on the bulk option via upload panel. Then stopped to work on some client code. When I finally made it back to the Media-Tags code I decided to rip out all the bulk upload logic for now so that I can get all the bug fixes into a version that can be pushed to wordpress.org for users screaming for fixes. Did that last week. So now back to adding the bulk upload tagging logic. Hope to have something beta this coming week.
