The upcoming AutoNav v1.4.5 (see beta announcement) will support this plugin. Specifically, AutoNav used the internal taxonomy "media-tags" when invoked as follows:
[autonav display="attached" id="tag:dessert"]
That would create a table of images attached to this post which have the 'dessert' media-tag.
