   I tried to put the title attribute in a link and it failed to parse the markdown at all.

   Confirmed. I think it's WordPress' curly quotes interfering. Looking into it.

   It was an issue wish quotes slashing. I fixed it and pushed out version 1.1.2, which should be available in the next 30 minutes or so. Thanks!
