   According to the Developer Center, that "Powered by MapPress" link is not "legal".

   The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a "powered by" link) without explicitly asking the user's permission.

   Please add the ability to remove it on the next release.

   I agree with you that according to the guidelines it is not done, but you can easily get rid of it by adding this to your CSS:

   .mapp-container #mapp0_poweredby {display:none !important;}
