    Hello,

I have moved a localhost site to a live server that does not have the DNS pointed to the live server yet. Another words I haven't got to the "Welcome to WordPress" Install WordPress screen. Can I just ftp the Maintenance Plugin to my plugins folder before pointing the DNS?

    Thank you Clayton.

I don't need to update my mysql database or anything else do I?

I think once your new site is completely installed and running, all you need to do is activate the plugin. If I remember correctly, you can also customize the message, but all you really need to do is just activate the plugin and then turn it on from the settings in your dashboard.
