   Hi:

   I'm trying to figure out a fix for Facebook pulling the head content from the 503.php file (custom maintenance mode page), before it pulls from our custom theme front-page.php. header.

   If you put our URL in the LINK area of a Facebook status update (http://www.reesenews.org), you'll see that it's pulling content from the maintenance mode page and not the appropriate home page.

   I'm working on putting the new Facebook meta in the head of front-page.php, but barring that, it shouldn't pull from the maintenance mode page if deactivated.

   I too have the same issue. I disabled the maintenance mode and when I paste it into facebook status update, its showing as "maintenace mode" next to the title. Did you ever fix this? Is it a search engine crawl thing? I even disabled the maintenance mode plugin and its the same thing. I figure it will just resolve on its own??
