After activating this plugin, I checkeed the default category boxes for different newsletters. However, when a user register to the site, they are not automatically added to that newsletter.

After activating this plugin, I checkeed the default category boxes for different newsletters. However, when a user register to the site, they are not automatically added to that newsletter.
you have to allow this in mailpress general settings
