   Messages sit in the outbox as "pending" indefinitely. Clicking "send" under a draft creates yet another copy that also sits as "pending."

   "Manage subsciption" links go nowhere.

   Oddly enough, disabling the batch_send and newsletter add-ons allow mail to go out.
