removing * = required field from form (2 posts)

    I'd like to remove the text * = required field from the form. I think that we are at the point that most people on the internet can figure out that * means required :)

    I'm not sure where to access the code for the widget to make edits.

    Hey, eyesbright!

    Generally, this can be done through the CSS for your site. You'll want to use either Chrome's developer tools or Firebug for Mozilla Firefox and isolate the specific class. Then, in your Style.css file (Appearance -> Editor -> Style.css), add the following information to your stylesheet:

    #mc-indicates-required {
    display: none;}

    Essentially, this hides the "* = required field" note at the bottom of the form. :)
