I set up the plugin to add an opt-in box for my Mailchimp list on WordPress and got it designed the way I want it. The problem is that I've tried a couple of times to subscribe using my Gmail address to test the system and nothing is happening.

I do not receive a confirmation email and I am not added to the Mailchimp list.

I set this up about 8 hours ago... if I need to be more patient than that, this plugin won't work for me. I don't want subscribers to have to wait that long to get their confirmation email.

    My website is currently http://www.kellamcompanies.com.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Hey there!

We had a look at the signup form, but were able to get the email within a few minutes on Gmail. Here's the copy we received:

While this isn't necessarily specific to the WordPress plugin, we do have a couple of reasons why that email might take a while to get to your test accounts:

My recipients aren’t getting confirmation emails when they sign up.: http://eepurl.com/mnYz

If you do continue to see issues, please don't hesitate to give us a shout. We'll be happy to help!

    Cheers

Huh. Very interesting... now it seems to be working.

I do have one other quick question for you... When I click on the subscribe link, there's no indication that anything has happened. In other words, it doesn't take the subscriber to a different page or put any sort of indication to them that the system accepted their subscription. Is there a setting I missed somewhere?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey again, Jkellam!

Once the form is submitted, the "success" message should be above the "Email" field:

That's what we see once the form is submitted. You can also style that by editing the CSS for the for form, as well. That will make it stand out a little more and grab your subscribers attention.

If we can help with anything else, give us a shout!

    Cheers
