   Hi there,

   I've installed the Mailchimp List Subscribe Form (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mailchimp/installation/) to my site, but the submit button does nothing when clicked.

   The button itself changes colour when hovered over, and once clicked it does submit the information to mailchimp (I received an email confirming my subscription when I tried it), but it's very confusing for people who use it because they receive no confirmation that their form has actually been submitted. Please help!

   The form is a drop-down located at the top of the homepage http://blog.backyardactivist.com/ (It says Join Backyard Activist).

   Another form is located here, although I'm not sure if this form is embedded, or using the plugin: http://blog.backyardactivist.com/join-the-movement/individuals/

   Either way I still have the same problem...

   I know there are many, many people who have asked this question, but I've searched and can't seem to find a solution that works for my site.

   Hey there, Laura!

   It looks like the form being used on the page is the MailChimp embedded form, not necessarily the plugin.

   The inline validation is dependent on a few factors with your specific WordPress setup. However, a fellow WordPress user pointed out this nifty little trick they used to get things working, seamlessly:
