   Mailchimp widget will not load. Instead I get this message in red:
   "There was a problem loading your MailChimp details. Please re-run the setup process under Settings->MailChimp Setup"
   I have rechecked all settings, upgraded and reinstalled the widget with no success

   Did you also upgrade the plugin, and if so did you follow the upgrade instructions that were posted?

   If not, going to the settings and actually clicking the buttons to update/save everything will likely fix any inconsistencies.

   Yes, I did the upgrade, uninstalled and reinstalled, deactivated other plugins to make sure there was no conflict.
   The problem is on the settings page and widget generated. The section in settings called Merge Variables Included displays the wrong information. It does not match the fields I set up in Mailchimp.
   It is reverting to a Mailchimp form I used months ago instead of picking up the current form. I have cleared caches. There must be a coding issue somewhere in WP that is causing this.

   If you change things in your mailchimp account, they won't automatically get picked up. If you going to the settings for the plugin and actually click the buttons to update/save everything it should fix any inconsistencies.

   I had pushed every button but "update list" that did it. I can't believe I missed that all these times i have messed with it.
