When trying to enter an email in using Chrome, you have to really continue to move your cursor/mouse around to find a spot that you can click so you can start to enter your email address.
It works great in all other browsers, but takes several attempts with Chrome.

    Hey Dsaro!

Hmm.... that's odd. Would you mind giving us a little more information about where you're seeing this behavior? Is this in a specific site or is this in the settings for the plugin?

    Give us a shout back!

    Cheers

This is in a specific site, it is currently on our test site at http://www.wp-savvy.com, it is on the homepage and when you are in Chrome and click to add the email, it doesn't show the cursor. You have to try a couple of times. It works great in the other browsers.
    Thanks.

    Hey again!

Thanks for that follow-up! It looks like there might be some CSS weirdness going on with that specific site. When using the widget "out of the box", we don't see the same behavior that is on that site. It looks like in order to get it to allow for input, you have to click along what would be the top border of the form. Unfortunately, our ability to troubleshoot custom code is limited, as each site is totally different.

Another option might be to go with MailChimp's "naked" form to the site and style the CSS accordingly:
