Trying to use Live blogging for the first time I encounter a problem not described in the forum or FAQ. I get an error message telling me that there was a problem receiving http://mydomain.no/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=liveblog_entry. Could be closed or wrongly configured.

I am a complete novice at WP and this is my first forumpost here so please be gentle

Can you provide any more information? What error message, what version of the plugin, are you using the latest version, what version of PHP? http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html

This is the errormessage i am receiving just translated from norwegian

"there was a problem receiving http://mydomain.no/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=liveblog_entry. Could be closed or wrongly configured."

Norwegian version: "Nettstedet støtte på en feil ved henting av http://par72.no/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=liveblog_entry. Det kan være stengt for vedlikehold eller feilaktig konfigurert."

It looks like im just trying to go to a dead url.

Latest version of the plugin, PHP 5.2.5. Also tried uninstall and install

Edit: This happens when i try to add new blog entry. [liveblog] shortcode is added to a post that is published

Can you check your PHP error log to see if there's anything in there?

    Hi Chris.

Thanks for responding. Where would I find these logs?

It depends on the configuration of your webserver.
