[resolved] Styling lists - only works in parts with thumbnails (6 posts)

    Hi, I love the plugin but I cannot get list styling right. I followed this post to get a list with thumbnails, but I can't get rid of the list dots before the image. I have tried several things, inserted a different "ul" style (I am not a css expert though), the dots still remain.

    What would be the correct way to influence the style?

    In my CSS file I added
    .lcp_catlist ul { list-style-type:none; }

    it doesn't do what I think.
    Any Idea?
    Thanks!

    please post a link to your site.

    could be:

    ul.lcp_catlist { ... }

    try to work with a tool such as Firebug to evaluate the involved css.

    I used it on two sites:
    http://www.staedtebauleitplanung.de/f1/ and http://www.stadtidee.de/projekte/staedtebau/.

    Will try that Firebug thing, thank you!

    ist so wie ich gesagt hatte: ul.lcp_catlist

    (.lcp_catlist` is a css class of the ul tag)

    try and use (for the second link):

    ul.lcp_catlist li {list-style-type:none;}

    (the li is needed because the theme used the list-style on the li)

    and for the first link:

    #content ul.lcp_catlist li {list-style-type:none;}

    (because the list style was more specific defined by a #content ul li style)
