Concerning your question to also add trailes & routes: currently, only markers can be added to maps. Routes and trailes are planned for one of the next version (probably via GeoJSON-Import).

Hi Robert,
I’m testing your fantastic plugin to display information about trails in the Canary Islands. I have two questions, first on the change of coordinate system to EPSG: 4326. When I do this the base map appears displaced and can not find how I can change it´s projection.
The second, about the representation of lines or routes. It will be possible in the future to show up a kml on the map? I am very interested in this option or the development of import via GeoJSON? Could support you to achieve this goal?

Ad change of CRS (Coordinate Reference System) to EPSG:4326: frankly I dont know if this is supported by every provider. I added this option because it is a setting which can easily be set by the leaflet library (and therefore I added the disclaimer: “only change this if you know what you are doing” 😉 ). Perhaps you could ask the guys at leaflet.cloudmade.com for more details.
Ad routes support via KML (or GPX): this is on the roadmap – but depends on when and how the guys from leaflet.cloudmade.com add this to their library (there are already pull requests for that and there is a user voice forum where you can add and vote for those ideas). If route support is added to the leaflet library, I will build a user interface for this feature with on of the following versions of my plugin.

is it still on your roadmap to integrate a GPX support. Leaflet integrated the GeoJSON layers, maybe this can help with it ?
