    When I do a search I get the following error:-

    You came here from www.google.co.uk searching for shakey vick. These posts might be of interest:

    WordPress database error: [The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes]
    SELECT ID, post_title, post_content,MATCH (post_title, post_content) AGAINST ('shakey vick') AS score FROM wp_posts WHERE MATCH (post_title, post_content) AGAINST ('shakey vick') AND post_date <= '2008-10-28 15:43:58' AND (post_status IN ( 'publish', 'static' )) AND post_type = 'post' AND post_password = '' ORDER BY score DESC LIMIT 5

    Is it possible to fix it?

    Hi,
    is your table wp_posts has the engine MyISAM (you can check this in phpmyadmin)?

    Thanks for your reply.

    No... it's listed as type InnoDB in phpmyadmin....

    that's why you have this error, you need to change it to MyISAM.
    Execute this request in phpmyadmin :
    ALTER TABLE wp_posts ENGINE = MYISAM;

    I'll commit a new version of Landing sites soon.

    I have the same problem, and my wp_posts is already MyISAM.
    It's only in 1.4.1 this occurs, so I've reverted to 1.3 for now.

    Any advice is welcome.

    I am also having this problem after an upgrade to WordPress 2.7. Any ideas? Have disabled and re-enabled the plugin.

    Complete error on my site is:

    WordPress database error: [Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list]
          SELECT ID, post_title, post_content,MATCH (post_title, post_content) AGAINST ('mango chutney') AS score FROM wp_posts WHERE MATCH (post_title, post_content) AGAINST ('mango chutney') AND post_date <= '2008-12-14 15:05:00' AND (post_status IN ( 'publish', 'static' )) AND post_type = 'post' AND post_password = '' ORDER BY score DESC LIMIT 5

    Execute this request on your phpMyAdmin:
    ALTER TABLE wp_posts ADD FULLTEXT post_related (post_title, post_content);

    2.7
    1.4.1
    Reactivated plugin
    Ran alter table command, which was a dupe because I've run it before for other related posts style plugins.

    Obviously something is going on, none of the usual related posts plugins to my knowledge are working currently.

    Fix appreciated, thanks.

    ALTER TABLE wp_posts ADD FULLTEXT post_related (post_title, post_content);

    Gives me this error: #1061 - Duplicate key name 'post_related'

    I got the same error as hugin.

    There's definitely something wrong with the plugin. I can't get it to work under 2.7 or 2.6.5. Would love to downgrade to the previous version to try that again, but I can't track it down.

    Any help here?

    Okay, I fixed the problem by DOWNGRADING to Landing Sites 1.3. It works fine under WP 2.6.5. Will test it under 2.7 now; if I don't report here, you can assume it works.
