[resolved] Using Google Snippits (9 posts)

    Hey Kamal,

    I'm trying to use rich snippits from google (http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=uk&answer=99170) to tag the [avg] of your plugin. That tells Google the score of a certain blog, in my case products.

    I am not able to code it correctly. This should be added:

    <div class="hreview"><span class="rating">[avg]</span></div>

    The HTML however is shown as HTML in the page, while it should only work as HTML, not be shown ;)

    Any idea how I can fix this?

    Hi, I will embed this google snippet feature in a future version of this plugin.

    Apologies for not updating the plugin in quick time frames.

    Awesome, thank you so much! This is by far the best star rating plugin I've used.
    I asked for another feature in this forum post (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-kk-star-ratings-feature-request?replies=1) it's not urgent or anything. :)

    Anyway, thanks again

    Not really sure, but seems that "schema/rich snippet" issue does not implement correctly in this plugin according to google docs that says:

    Don't add a separate hidden text block to specify the rating. Hidden content will not be displayed. link

    And this plugin actually did that:

    <span style="display:none;">
      <div xmlns:v="http://rdf.data...">
      ...
    </span>

    Also it will be better not to include css and script files on those pages where we set to disable rating (home page etc.)

    Yes that's true. I already mentioned that google rich snippets is in beta. I will be implementing it correctly in the next version, but for now it still works :)

    Thanks for the reply and for cool plugin!
    Also I found some issues (but I'm not sure about it) and some suggestions, may be they can help you:
    1. In file "js.js" variable "disable" is always "false". May be the reason is that we do not send "star" variable (in case of "Unique based on User IP") that is checked in index.php at lines~389:

    if($stars) ...

    2. In admin section on "Reset" page it is some sort of inconvenience if you have 100+ posts because there is no pagination or something.
    3. It will be cool to have option to edit each review number, not just "delete all"
