    Hi all!

    Please bear with me, as I am new to Flash and not much of a codemaster ;-)

    I have created a short (6 seconds) SWF movie with Adobe Flash Professional CS5 that I would like to show in the header of my site (www.martijnboersma.com).

    I have uploaded the SWF file to WordPress and installed the Kimili Plugin. After adjusting the plugin settings, I have added the following code to header.php:

    [kml_flashembed movie="wp-content/uploads/2012/01/MFTS.swf" width="600" height="100"]

    <!-- Begin Alternate Content -->

    <p>
    <a href="http://adobe.com/go/getflashplayer">
    <img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" />
    </a>
    </p>

    <!-- End Alternate Content -->

    [/kml_flashembed]

    The coding results in a white space appearing in the header, with no playing SWF file.

    Although the SWF file works fine when I double click it on my desktop, it doesn't play when I go to the absolute URL: http://www.martijnboersma.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/MFTS.swf.

    Is the coding incorrect, or could it be that there is something wrong with the SWF file itself? Or perhaps both :-/

    Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance :-)

    It turned out that I did not embed the .flv in the .swf whilst exporting in Flash.
    After that, it worked just fine.
