    I just downloaded and activated this plugin for CF7. My question might seem simple and probably is, but I’m stuck on this point. When I open my form in design mode, what do I have to do to get the field validation selection rules to appear (under the ‘Generate tag’ selector) so that I can use them?

    Partially answered my own question. I go the field validation selection to display, but there is still an issue. I have Zip set as a text field. I want to set mask (ie, 9999-9999) to force numeric character input only, since there is no numeric field type, nor would I use it in this instance. Also, how about forcing upper case alpha characters ONLY for the State field?

    I saved the changes, went into the form, entered ‘xxxxx’ to test the validation – – and nothing. Seems to me that a format mask – NOT a watermark – should cause the form to catch the ‘xxxxx’ and pop an error message, but it doesn’t.

    Any suggestions? Or am I missing what the Jquery validation is supposed to do?
