jQuery Colorbox
What are manual entries? (5 posts)

    Hi,

My site's theme already uses the jquery Colorbox in it's core.

Can someone please tell me if it's possible to manually insert HTML style or class codes into the advanced link settings so the pop-up image DOESN'T resize?

Reason is the pop-up image is quite long and I need it to be able to be scrolled through instead of resized down to some tiny thin image.

Any ideas anyone would really be appreciated.

    Hi,
you'll have to change the JavaScript call your theme uses to apply the Colorbox functionality to the images on your site.
If you were using my plugin, resizing images is a setting that can be switched on or off site-wide.
    Cheers,

Yeah, I am using your plugin on one of my sites to check out the functionality and options.

My question is if I have auto-resizing configured on a site wide basis, can I display a one-off image without resizing?

No, at the moment, that is not possible.
I just don't see a way to conveniently configure this on a per-link or per-image basis...

Maybe I could implement this using custom CSS classes...

Since cases like this will probably be a minority and users wanting to do this are probably more technically oriented, it would suffice to have to apply CSS classes to links or images manually (using the HTML editor, no GUI support) like "colorbox-noresize" or "colorbox-width-800-px", "colorbox-height-800-px" and so on.

I'll have to think about that...

    Cheers,
    Arne
