    I just installed the exact same version and didn’t have problems with both plugins activated.
    My guess: either it’s another plugin causing your problems or it’s your theme. Maybe you updated more than just the jQuery Colorbox plugin?

    I tried to use Editable Comments, but I can’t get it to work at all, sorry.

    I’ve just downgraded to 4.3 and it works again, so I’m sure it’s caused by version 4.4. Maybe it’s theme specific, I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme. I also have a second WordPress site (also with Twenty Eleven and 2 Click Social Media Buttons where I did not perform the update on jQuery Colorbox and where the combination still works.

    there was a serious bug in 4.4 which I fixed in 4.4.1 after posting here. you could try updating again.
