[Plugin: Joomla/Mambo To WordPress Migrator] MySQL Database User Conflict

    I’m using 1and1 hosting, MySQL databases.

    I’m met with an error :

    Cant select MySQL Database.1044 - Access denied for user 'JOOMLADATABASEUSER'@'%' to database 'WORDPRESSDATABASE'

    I’m not very familiar with 1and1 or MySQL and I’m curious to see if anyone knows how to grant the Joomla Database User permissions to the new WordPress Database.

    It seems as though this plug-in wants to use one database user, and although my Joomla and WordPress data is on the same server, they are on two different database tables, and 1and1 uses different database users for each.

    use the mysql root user. the plugin works with only one mysql user for all databases.

    with version 1.5.1 you can set different db connections for each cms

    My both databases have same sql server.
    I don’t know password the of the mysql route user. Hosting company also not able to give it or reset it as it is root.
    it is automatically created as abcd@local host. I have created a new user with all priviliges to both databases, yet it shows access denied. Any way out.
