please get the latest release of the plugin.
copy the images to a subdirectory of your wordpress installation and give this directory as “WP Images Folder” like:
/wp-content/themes/yourtheme/images
or
/wp-content/uploads/2010/12
for “WP Website URL” your write:
http://yourblogname.com
all without ending slash (“/”) !!!

I’m sorry but not work
I have updated to latest release
I have copied my images in http://localhost/libri/wp-content/themes/twentyten/images/libri
my settings are:
Joomla Images Path:
Joomla Images folder: images/libri
Joomla Website URL: http://localhost/libriperbambinieragazzi
(in joomla installation the images are in http://localhost/libriperbambinieragazzi/images/libri)
WP Images folder: /wp-content/themes/twentyten/images/libri
WP Website URL: http://localhost/libri
where I wrong?
thanks
actually it should work. the images you have copied?
are they attached to the posts? or if you have an <img> tag in the post how is the “src” of the image?
the src should look like <img src=”http://localhost/libri/wp-content/themes/twentyten/images/libri/imagexyz.jpeg” or similiar.

I have copied the images in http://localhost/libri/wp-content/themes/twentyten/images/libri
but when I migrate, in the post my tag <img> is for example:
<img src=”/images/libri/un-cerbiatto-nel-cuore.jpg” border=”0″ width=”136″ height=”200″ align=”left” />
A partial solution could be to copy the images in “http://localhost/libri/images/libri” and then change, with a plugin “find e replace”, <img src=”/images/libri/un-cerbiatto-nel-cuore.jpg”> in <img src=”images/libri/un-cerbiatto-nel-cuore.jpg”>, work but is not a solution very elegant
I found the problem in the source code and will upload a new release.
please get the latestrelease and let me know if it is working
Hey hey! I’d like to know what worked perfectly for you. I’m currently using the latest version. Here are my settings:
Joomla Images Path: /images
Joomla Images folder: /images/stories/articles
WP Images folder: /wp-content/images/2011/03
My images are stored in 3 different locations:
– (My Joomla image folder) /images/stories/articles
– (My WordPress image folder) /wp-content/images/2011/03
– (My WordPress plugin image folder) /wp-content/plugins/joomla-to-wordpress-migrator/images
All images appear broken after migration. The paths are all wrong. Example: wp-content/images/2011/03/stories/articles/Prey_2_Game_Reactor_Image.jpg
Even if I leave the Joomla image path and folder blank, stories/articles/ will still append to the url of all images.
and none of the images appear in the media section of wp.
the description is not clear. in your case you have to use /images as joomla folder – then it should work correctly.
some joomla installation have different folder for images than /images/stories/articles.
/images/stories is the correct folder in your case. you have to copy the folder /stories cmplete to your wordpress images folder /wp-content/images/2011/03.
