[Plugin: Job Manager] 0.4.5 More Issues (5 posts)

    Still having some problems with the latest (0.4.5) version. On the /jobs/ page the category does not appear. On the backend, it does.

    This wouldn't be so much as a problem, however I want to show jobs based on categories. This leads me to the next question, how to I show jobs on a page from a certain category only?

    I'm using Google Chrome and there's a missing icon in the left. I set the job up with no icon checked, however it's still there. The source shows:

    <img src="http://www.mysitehere.com/wp-content/plugins/job-manager/icons/on." title="">

    Be sure to make the check for icon before adding the img tag, so if there's no icon, leave the td empty. Also be sure to finish the image tag with />, for the sake of XHTML validation.

    I'd also like to ask you one more thing. How could I place a general application form on a separate page just for sending CVs?

    Like "Send you CV now", no job required. Thank you.

    For showing jobs from a certain category, you just need to add the Category Slug to the URL:

    http://yoursite.com/jobs/category-slug/

    I'll have a look at the icon problem. It seems to be storing something incorrect in the icon data value.

    For the img tag, it has the closing /> already. Could you check jobman-display:294 of your install to see if this is correct for you?

    General application form exists, just go to:

    http://yoursite.com/jobs/apply/

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Tested the category issue. It shows me the category title, it shows the following text paragraph:

    We currently don’t have any jobs available. Please check back regularly, as we frequently post new jobs. In the mean time, you can also send through your résumé, which we’ll keep on file.

    and then it shows the description of my job. I currently have only one. Hmmm...

    Hehe, ignore the last part. The description has been added by me. But it still doesn't work.
