[Plugin: Jetpack] Set a master WordPress.com account (2 posts)

    Hello there,

I'm using Jetpack in a site with several users. To use publicize, they have to configure Jetpack and for that they are requested to use a WordPress.com account.

I believe they can just use the credentials of other WordPress.com account, so I have set an account for it.

I would like to find a way so Jetpack automatically uses those credentials, so I don't have to explain to every user what to put as user and password.

    Is that possible??

    Thanks.

You should be able to work around that problem by using the "Shared Connection" checkbox appearing when you make a Publicize connection under Settings > Sharing.

Once a connection is shared, they won't have to deal with Publicize at all; their posts will automatically get posted to the connected Social Media account.

If, however, you would like each user to be able to use Publicize with their own Social Media account, they will have to use their WordPress.com account indeed.
While that might seem like an extra step, it will allow them to use other Jetpack features on your site, like Toolbar Notifications or Likes

    I hope this helps.
