I am working on a site for a client, that I didn’t set up myself. They want me to implement a secure payment system for premium content. I am using the “Paid Membership Pro” plugin and everything is working great. We purchased an SSL certificate and got that all set up, now I’m just going through trying to make sure all the other resources on the page are secured, so I get a nice green lock icon for visitors.

The problem is that this site is also using the Jetpack plugin and the WP.me short link feature and the short link is not showing up https, but I’d like it to.

    Any ideas?

The shortlink domain in use is not currently configured for HTTPS use, so your users would end up seeing the “this domain may be bad” messages from their browsers when the visit the shortlink.

I can investigate updating this, though in the mean time, you can probably find and host a shortlink generator on your own server that will run through your SSL certificate.
