[resolved] Jetpack Stats Missing... (16 posts)

I was having issues with my blog so I was told to deactivate all my plugins for the trouble shooting process. Turned off everything and then turned back on everything that was previously active.

It appears that my jetpack stats are no longer available. There's no longer an option even to click on to see my stats under the jetpack dropdown.

    I found this thread here:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/jetpack-stats-lost

and checked my wp_options table to see if the ID had changed for some reason. I just checked and saw that they were identical still.

Any ideas for how to get my stats back?

When you reactivated Jetpack, did you also reconnect to WordPress.com?

This bug may have been fixed in Jetpack 1.8.1, which is now available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack/

Make sure that you have the Stats module active and that you've reconnected to WordPress.com.

I was never given the option to reconnect... I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and nothing. I logged into my wordpress.com and it shows zero stats for the last 4 or 5 days (since it has stopped working). Is there a way to manually force a reconnect to wordpress.com?

UPDATE: 1.8.1 was not showing on my dashboard as an update. I deactivated Jetpack. Re-activated it and there was the option to upgrade from 1.8 to 1.8.1 and stats have returned

Since the latest update (to 1.8) I have found that I am getitng a STATS UNAVAILABLE TRY LATER error messgae

Missed this... but how do I make sure the "stats module" is active. I don't see any options for anything or to setup anything in jetpack.

Could you try updating to the latest version of the plugin, Jetpack 1.8.1. A fix has now been released, and your Stats should be available again.

Still missing and stats are not logging. Checked wordpress.com and I've had no stats now for over a week... I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling... no option to reconnect to wordpress or anything.

    Figured out the issue.

    Found this thread.
    http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/missing-the-site-stats-option-completely-and-only-learn-more-buttons?replies=7

I enabled the default 2011 theme. Then deactivated and reactivated jetpack and then all of a sudden I had that bar on the top that asked me to reconnect to wordpress.com.

Then I reactivated my current theme and site stats were available again.

    Hope this helps someone else!

@dylanvogel If you still experience issues, could you please start a new thread, and let us know your site URL so we can have a look at the issue?

    Thank you.
