[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Jetpack Stats are not showing old stats

I was using WordPress.com Stats until it broke last week and was told that I had to use Jetpack instead.
I deactivated WordPress.com Stats
Now I have installed Jetpack but all my old stats are gone. I thought Jetpack Stats would show the old stats too, am I wrong?
Have I done something wrong, and is there anything I can do to get my old stats back?
