[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Jetpack Site Stats not recording some pageviews

My site normally gets 2000-3000 pageviews per day. Since installing Jetpack and having the WordPress.com Stats replaced with the new version in Jetpack, the recorded pageviews has dropped to 500-700 per day.

I suspect that it is not recording RSS traffic. Checking these stats against my Google Analytics stats shows they are very similar. There has always been a big difference between my WordPress.com stats and Analytics stats (Analytics much lower).

Is anyone else experiencing this? What exactly is being measured here?
