Your screenshot link no longer works.

Jetpack is also not designed to run on localhosts, so this may be the issue. What happens when you try it on an active, public server?

The image was to show that the blog was completely without CSS.

From plugins to changes I make on my theme to *everything* else, I test on my localhost blog. Any change *only* goes online after tests on localhost passed.

I don’t think the issue would be “Jetpack is also not designed to run on localhosts”, because the other Jetpack’s features work just fine on localhost. I export a copy of my online blog’s database on phpMyAdmin and import it on to my localhost’s blog database, so I can make sure that offline it has the same settings, posts, pages, comments, … and everything else just works.

The point of creating mobile themes is to make a lighter theme that still has the same look of the full blog, in my oppinion.

And theme is a very important thing to me: it cannot break. The blog cannot break or stop working because of a tricky plugin, for example. That’s why I don’t (and won’t) activate online anything that breaks my localhost blog.

When I started this topic, Jetpack version was 1.8.0 (or 1.8.1). Latest version is 1.8.3 and this one I haven’t tested yet. I’ll try it (on localhost!).
