Under SUPPORT for Jetpack...the question is asked:

How do I turn off one of the features provided by Jetpack?

    JETPACK'S RESPONSE IS THE FOLLOWING:

On the feature card explaining the feature you’d like to turn off, click the “Learn More” button. A “Deactivate” button will appear. Click that button and that feature will be completely deactivated.

There is NOT ONE deactivate button after you click "LEARN MORE" so where is it and why is it advertised to customers when there is no such option???

Since the upgrade to WP.org, Jetpack has been a mess.

    - it missed 3 days of stats, so 3 days are all zeros.
    - the comments are messing up my site.
    - JP redirected my site to wp.com when it has been with wp.org for 3 years.
    - I really want to know why JP automatically activates all services and misleads users into thinking they can \\\"deactivate\\\" individual features?

Please tell me what is going on with JP as I want to get rid of it but I will lose comments and all stats, which is not fair because it handcuffs users to NOT having the option of not using JP if they want.

BarryCarlyon - the image you posted va link doesn't show any DEACTIVATE button for individual Jetpack services. I see an ACTIVATE button but that is it.

    Jetpack states the following:

On the feature card explaining the feature you’d like to turn off, click the “Learn More” button. A “Deactivate” button will appear. Click that button and that feature will be completely deactivated.

Again, my question is where is the DEACTIVATE BUTTON because when I click LEARN MORE I do not see one; and I you obviously do not have this button according to your image.

    What is the deal here?

And thank you for your time in advance.

After you click Learn More, the Deactivate button appears next to the Learn More button. When you click Learn More, the window scrolls down some, so make sure to look at the top of the window.

If you look at the image that Rev. Voodoo posted, there is a Deactivate button for the Jetpack Comments module shown since the Learn More window for that module is open in that screenshot.

For LLP I've now added a Massive Arrow http://www.evernote.com/shard/s45/sh/d15c7f82-4d33-4bcb-90d1-7ab38d0ffec9/08599b6fb59d30dbf4fe7e18f1cf3803

Click Learn more and then the deactivate button appears.

Deactivate appears to the right of the Learn More button and replaces configure.

    VaultPress doesn't have one

I have been pulling my non existent hair out as well, and I thought I was the only one.Since self hosting this jetpack has turned my site into a ghost town.Nobody can do anything. Comments disappear, or don't even show up, people cant sign in or re register, the stats are stuffed...

I hate what it has done to my site.I also paid for guided transfer and support for 2 weeks and all they keep telling me is everything looks fine.

I was getting 10,000 visitors a day usually a lot more on a site I have slugged away for for 2 years
