Installing Jetpack v1.2.3 on two (2) new WordPress sites this afternoon. Installation goes fine. Created two new wordpress.com sites and activated them.

When I "Connect" to activate Jetpack, the WP Admin screen goes totally blank!

Furthermore, I also CANNOT login to Admin. I can get to /wp-admin/ and /wp-login.php screens; but, after pressing [Login], the whole browser window goes blank. NO, there is nothing loading for which I should wait.

    Totally blank.

Of course, after deleting plugins/jetpack/ via FTP, I CAN login without incident; but, WITHOUT Jetpack.

I have installed Jetpack via WP and deleted via WP without activation - NO change in behavior.

I have installed Jetpack v1.2.2 from another site - SAME problem.

BOTH of these sites reside on the same server; so, this could be a host issue - but, WHAT?

    Please, advise. Thank you.

    Hi!

    v1.2.4 - problem persists!

What are the requirements for Jetpack server-wise?

How can I have a conversation with the hosting support without giving them something with which to work?

    Please, advise. Thank you.

It would be helpful to see PHP error logs from when you received these blank screens. When you received an entirely blank screen, there is almost always a PHP error of some kind. That would be the best place to start with your host.

OK, this was a weird problem. Unlike others' complaints, the actual site did render; but, the entire Admin console was unreachable!

The resolution, for the record, in our case was increasing Server Memory Limit from 32MB (ORIG) to 128MB

This appears to be the solution on 2 of 2 sites

    Thank you.
