    ---

Since version 1.8 JetPack doesn't work well and doesn't deliver any posts to subscribers.
    I've tried versions: 1.8 ; 1.8.1 and 1.8.2

Now, I'm using version 1.7 which works perfectly in this specific question.

Having this same issue. What's up with the Jetpack updates lately? Maybe this needs to be updated less frequently so there's more time for quality control?

Me too! A couple of days ago I uninstalled all my plugins, reinstalled Jetpack first, reconnected to WordPress.com and then reinstalled other plugins and was able to send out emails. Upgraded to 1.8.2 the other day and the emails are still not being sent. I tried the uninstall and reconnecting to WordPress.com trick again but no luck...

Yesterday, when using 1.8.1, email suddenly stopped being sent out. Having not read this first, I upgraded to 1.8.2 hoping it would fix the problem. I won't know if it has until tomorrow's post goes out.

If I decide to go back to version 1.7, where do I find that code?

    @buzzquake:

    In this link below:

I've picked up it in "Developers" tab.

    Good luck!

I had no problems with email subscriptions until 1.8.2. No emails are going out on any post by any author. So whatever 1.8.2 was trying to fix, it broke for me. http://GraphicJoke.com

Agreed, Fishback. I was fine until 1.8. That one took away the stats. 1.8.2 took away the email notification. I think I'm going back to 1.7, because at this point I'm afraid of what the next upgrade will fix.

Add me to the list. Running JetPack 1.8.2 and no emails are being sent. JetPack: Any suggestions? What is wrong??

Same here, was working fine on 1.8.1. Then I installed 1.8.2 and subscriptions are now dead. People can sign up but that is all that works. Nothing gets delivered. The error we have found is:

    "-10520: Jetpack: [missing_token]"

I deactivated 1.8.2 and tried to install 1.7 and got these messages:

    Destination folder already exists. /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/

    Plugin install failed.

    How do I install 1.7?

    Thanks!

    Delete /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/

The jetpack folder. And then install 1.7

My client has 50 e-mail subscribers to her blog via Jetpack and I don't want to lose that data. I'm assuming that if I delete the folder, I'll be deleting the data.

When you delete 1.8.2 and reinstall 1.7 does it lose any of the existing subscribed contacts?

In what cases do you lose the subscribed contacts as I don't want to have to ask our existing subscribers to resubmit / confirm as it's proved to be a pain and if they miss their first confirmation email it won't resend it again to the same email address (painful).

I deleted Jetpack 1.8.2 from the Plug-in page, and then added 1.7. The subscriber list came through just fine.

Correct deleting Jetpack will not delete any of your subscribers. I have done this several times.

Anyone having issues with 1.7 showing this error when trying to connect to wordpress.com?

Our 1.8.2 also does not send notifications for posts. We run WordPress.org, and are hosted by Yahoo Web Hosting.

The WordPress Users received their email notifications.

Is there a way to send notifications of posts "manually" when Jetpack fails to send them out automatically. This rather than reinstall an earlier version.

Couldn't find blog followers list in MySQL DB - what table is that list kept in? Is there a table that records email notifications sent?

The wp_post_notification_posts row for the post that was not sent has a value of -2 for Notification_sent. Is that for WordPress or Jetpack? In either case, what does -2 represent?

Does anyone from Jetpack ever responed here, just to let us know you're not all on vacation?

    Thank you,
    Old China Books

You would think that with the amount of folks here having issues as shown on this thread, JetPack would have had some update for us. I don't see it happening...

JetPack developers: are you listening? How about an update on what is going on here?

We have over 440 subscribers who are not getting post notifications. Is there an ETA for a fix?

Using 1.8.2 too and no updates being emailed to subscribers. Need to know when this will be fixed so I can tell people when they complain!

I logged a call with the JetPack support team over the weekend and they tell me they're looking into the issue now ("We're investigating this issue, and will get back to you once we have an update."). I have exactly the same problem with 1.8.2, that's resolved by using 1.7.

Subscription notification emails and confirmation of subscription is going out, but no notification of new posts after subscription. No notification of comments either!

I have been talking to support and they last recommended I go into jetpack and disconnect / reconnect. I haven't tried it yet as I want to verify I won't lose my subscribers but plan to once they confirm.

    @work2ride:

I've already tried this but the problem remains.
    Nothing has worked.

You can delete/change/restore the folder "jetpack" from plugins directory many times as you want.
This procedure won't "kill" your subscribers.

Subscribers profiles are stored in a MySQL database and will be preserved all the time.
    Don't be afraid of that!

    :o)

    Notifications not working!!!! HELP

I'm starting to have concerns about JetPack being a collection of plugins. If something goes wrong with one (as it has with subscriptions), I have to roll back all. Is putting all of the JetPack eggs in one plugin-basket a sound strategy? (Rolled back to 1.7 and fine for now.)
